Because I don't really know what to write yet, I thought I would take some inspiration from some of my favourite blogs (okay, I intend to imitate them shamelessly). Jen Worden likes to challenge her readers. Her latest challenge is to "work from one end of a how-to book to the other, project by project." If I were to attempt this project my first obstacle would be deciding which how-to book to work through. Here are some of my current favourites:
Mixed-Media Nature Journals: New Techniques for Exploring Nature, Life, and Memories by L.K. Ludwig
Mixed Media Explorations: Blending Paper, Fabric and Embellishment to Create Inspired Designs by Beryl Taylor
Mixed Emulsions: Altered Art Techniques for Photographic Imagery by Angela Cartwright
Painted Paper: Techniques & Projects for Handmade Books & Cards by Alisa Golden
And that's just four out of dozens of how-to books I would like to work through. How can I possibly chose just one?
